This is a quick read and is also clean. My problems are that it is written in a fairly simplistic style and I thought that the characters were a little unrealistic. Everybody was in love with everyone so quickly and I'm not speaking only about the romance. When the h meets the H's aunt they suddenly have this unshakable bond. Their interaction doesn't seem believable. The other thing I had a big, big issue with was the fact that the H and h have only known each other a few days when the h already has expectations of him and his future career. She is annoyed with him that he has private clients because she doesn't want him to become like her ex-fiance. She wasn't going out with him and a few private clients aren't going to turn him into her ex. It was all a bit much and a little too unbelievable.Product details

I like the characters in this book and I was happy to see that the heroine took a stand and decided to ditch her long-time cheating boyfriend. I though the heroine and her new love interest made a great pairing, I just wished their courtship was a little longer than a weekend. It would have been more realistic if their love had developed over at least a month. I also wished she hadn't let her ex stick around as much as she did. He was a real jerk and not kicking him to the curb immediately made her look kind of dumb. Having said that, I still liked the cast of characters and the chemistry between Chloe and Kyle.
A very very tame offering by Linda. Almost would make for good Sunday School reading. Chloe's indecision on choosing Kyle or Greg seemed to take over the whole book (Come on Linda get on with it but she never did!). It's too bad to because Linda always got the couple together for at least one intimate setting consummating the relationship and satisfying her reader.
Will have to really vet any future offerings by Linda to be sure she is going to complete the relationship in the bedroom.
I enjoyed reading this short story. It was a very peaceful romance. You could relax and enjoy learning about Ouray Colorado which sounds like a wonderful place to live as the book says Heaven on earth, or a great place to visit. It was nice to have a story without the sex that could be shared with a family member. And it did not take up page's that could have been more about the story itself, I so much enjoyed that fact! I do wish that the Author would have had a longer ending it just needed that little extra touch. I do hope that in her Kiss Me series she will will let us know more about the characters from this book. Please consider your readers!! I am looking forward to reading your other books!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story from beginning and continuing right to the very end. No...there weren't any sexy romantic love scenes in this book, but then it didn't really need it. IMO-It was perfect just the way it was written.
Chloe Lewellyn Got tired of setting aside her hopes and dreams, for someone else's hopes and dreams. Greg was a workaholic, who always put his dreams and his job above Chloe's wants and needs. He's also been running around with other women behind her back, until one day she spots him in a restaurant with his latest conquest. That was the wake-up call for her. She's decided she's done with Greg, the job she hated, and done with putting her own dreams and aspirations on hold. She immediately packs her bags, tells her BFF good-bye and then heads off towards the mountains of Colorado. She has no idea of what she'll find there, but she knows it has to be better than the life she's left behind.

In just one short weekend, Kyle has shown her more caring, more love, more understanding, an more affection than she's had in the last few years she shared with Greg.
This book is so good, you'll find it hard to put down.
Would I recommend this book? Yes, most definitely!
