Look it's not Elinor, so it's never going to be quite as good. Having said that, Helen McClelland does a pretty good job of filling in this missing term, given the number of books before and after that she had to tie in with, and the fact that she couldn't have an exciting ending because there's no reference to any such happening in other books in the series. It's high praise to say that this is really quite readable, definitely one of the better fill in books I've read and nowhere near as bad as it certainly could have been in less skilled hands.Product details

Helen follows the stories of the Chalet school, using well known characters and providing a new plot or" fill in" Most enjoyable.
A great add on book....a must read if you are a true chalet school fan. Love how the writer has blended the original series
